What are Blankz? They are these adorable little plush animals that are solid white. They come with a set of markers that allows your child to get their creative juices flowing! The animal becomes a canvas that can be designed to the best of their imagination! What’s even better? They are washable so once they have a new vision in mind, all you have to do is throw it in the wash, then let them start all over again!

Blankz come in seven different characters. There is a bear, an elephant, a rabbit, a seal, a bull, a dog, and a pig. We received the bear to review. My step-son was anxiously awaiting its arrival, so the minute it came in the mail he was waiting to start drawing. He was really excited to see that it even came complete with a backdrop that you can design for the animal. He had so may ideas while waiting on it to arrive that I guess once he actually got to working he lost all train of though and couldn’t decide what to do. He ended up going with a basic teddy bear design. He completely colored the entire bear and drew on facial features. He has a very heavy hand, so it took quite some time to dry (about 2 days.. the ink is really in there!) He even made a necklace for the bear with the tag that comes around its neck =]  He is waiting to design the back drop until he has it all planned out in his head since it is not washable. But he has a nice cave scene in the works!

The markers are washable, so even though he had it all over his hands and clothes I did not worry. The washer took the ink out of his clothing while alcohol wipes worked great to take it off of his hands. I definitely recommend setting up a specified place to let your little one design this or they may get wild ideas about other items they can color! (My one year old found the marker and before I knew it his belly was a canvas!)

I have not been able to wash the bear as my step son is stuck on it being how he wants it at this moment. But I have no doubt that it will wash clean with how easily it came out of the clothing. I can’t wait to be able to do it again. I think I will come up with the next creation! He want’s more to order the bull for him now since he says he can really design a mean looking bull! If you have artistic children or want to help shape the imagination, I definitely recommend checking out Blankz. Who knew coloring a plush toy could be so much fun!
