Britax Marathon 70 G3

One of the most important product you will buy as a new mom is definitely a car seat. Not only is it the law, but traveling in a car is unavoidable and you want your little one to be as safe as possible. There are so many brands and versions of car seats that it can be overwhelming to choose the perfect one. Britax has remained a top name in car seats for a very long time. Especially for someone like me who would like to buy one seat to last as long as possible. Britax makes lot of awesome convertible car seats. One of the newest editions is the Britax Marathon 70 G3. It definitely appears to be an awesome car seat that will last quite a long time!

The Britax Marathon 70 G3 can be used from 5-70 pounds! It can be used rear facing from 5 to 40 and forward facing once the child is at least one year old and 20 pounds. Even better, the seat has rear and forward reclining to make for an even more comfortable experience. Along with reclining, there is a high density foam padding as well as a plush cover that is easy to remove for cleaning. It has a quick adjust that allows you to adjust the height of the harnes easily as the child grows without having to take apart the straps and reassemble. The Britax Marathon 70 G3 also has an easy buckle system that keeps the harness in the forward position to avoid tangling as well as children sitting on the buckles when getting into the seat. Of course on top of all these great features there are still a ton of high end safety features including steel bars to reduce flexing of the seat, side impact protection, and an energy-absorbing versa tether. It is even air craft travel certified.

I’d say Britax has done it again and created yet another amazing car seat! No wonder they are one of the most well known and trusted brands!
