Butterfly Valentines Day Cards

Anyone can go out and buy a box of those cheap little character Valentines day cards. To make a really special card takes a little work (but the other kids will notice and will love the idea.. trust me!) So this year instead of waiting to the very last minute to sign 30 cards for the class, why not have your little one make their own? I found this cute butterfly craft outline and it is the perfect idea! (with your own touches to make it special of course!) Simply print this outline ( I would definitely suggest card stock so that it holds up to the suckers) You can use white paper or colored paper. Then cut out the butterfly, cut along the slits (these will be used to slide the sucker into) Have your child decorate however they like. glitter, stickers, crayons….  stick wiggly eyes on the top of a sucker. Stick the sucker through the slits in the butterfly (use tape on the back of the butterfly to hold the sucker in.  You will have these cute little guys for your child to hand out to their classmates.
