LEGO® KidsFest Richmond, VA Review

LEGO KidsFest

Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending LEGO® KidsFest with my husband and 2 sons. We anxiously awaited the arrival of this event for weeks! As the days grew near, more and more of the sessions in our area sold out and before it arrived there were no tickets to be found in Richmond, VA! The Greater Richmond Convention Center was going to be absolutely packed with LEGO® fans of all ages. Of course we had never been to LEGO® KidsFest, so we weren’t sure what to expect other than a massive amount of LEGO® bricks. And let me say, that does not even slightly describe what we encountered! First off, LEGO® KidsFest was broken into multiple sessions throughout the weekend to ensure the maximum amount of people able to attend. All sessions had the same content so it was more about which fit into your schedule better and which … read more

You Can Do It – Build Your Own Soccer Goal with PO.P

soccer goal

One thing that worries me as a mom of two is that children seem to be spending less and less time outside. I know that things are different from when I was a child, we can’t roam as freely as children once did, my children have restrictions placed upon where they can and can’t go. But this selectivity in where they play shouldn’t mean that they spend less time outside. I want my children to not only enjoy spending time outside, but to make their own fun out there. We all know that children learn from example, so why not show them how much fun can be had out in the fresh air? When I came across this PDF from Polarn O. Pyret on how to make your own soccer goal I knew it was perfect to get all three of us outside. Polarn O. Pyret sells designer kids and … read more
