The last few days I have been super excited for today to get here. All of the local weather channels stated that it would be almost 70 degrees outside! I made plans to hit a local park with my sister and son to spend the day. It is a huge park full of trails and animals and learning experiences. I woke this morning and it was a bit chilly, but not too bad. I was so excited to know that it would be 70 degrees, that I packed my bags, put on a tank top since I got hot very easily, loaded the car and headed out. I did put a jacket on the baby so he wouldn’t get cold until the chill lifted.

We got to the park and started on our adventure. I was a tad bit chilly without my jacket, but I figured I’d warm up some. Nope, it stayed cool! It never broke 50 degrees! Thanks to our lovely weather forecasters for ruining my beautiful plans! We spent a while there, but finally just went home and gave up hopes of that warm weather hitting. I got home and couldn’t seem to get warm! So I snuggled on the sofa with my blanket, a cup of tea and my computer to waste away the rest of the day.
When I am wasting my day I get lost on my computer. Sometimes I just hit up a Google search for random things I like and just look at pictures and dream. Other times, like today, I hit up sites like PriceGrabber.com,Inc and browse all the deals that I just wish I had money for! If I had the funds to cover all the items I see on a daily basis and say “I wish I had that” my house would end up featured on an episode of Hoarders! Oh well, day dreaming can be fun I guess. If I find the need to waste time tomorrow, I think I will resort to writing a blog post about the wonderful park we went to today instead of looking for things to spend money on! What do you tend to do on those days that you just want to waste time?
