So, I am one of those people who is guilty of throwing my hair up in a simple pony tail every day of the week. Whether I am having a casual day or a dressy day, you will see me with the same old ponytail to keep my hair out of my face. For one, my hair is getting pretty long and I don’t know much about styling long hair. For two, my hair is REALLY thick and it is so hot in the summer being down on my neck. I have tried many hair products claiming to make styling your hair easy and fun. And every time I fail. I can’t figure out how to use them. They don’t work as they are portrayed on TV. Many times they flat out break when trying to pin up my hair.
I have always wanted to be able to wear the cute styles I see other woman sporting. I had alopecia areata as a child an lost most of the hair on my head. I was very fortunate in the fact that I was able to grow most of my hair back after man steroid injections into my scalp. Since then, I have been very obsessed with trying to care for my hair as best as possible knowing how easy it is to lose and how devastating it can be. So it is hard for me to constantly watch myself throw it up as if it doesn’t matter. I just felt I had no other options until now!
I was given the opportunity to review Lilla Rose hair clips. They have truly changed my style! They are so easy to use and they actually WORK! Not to mention they are the most adorable hair clips I have ever seen! There are many designs to choose from and many beautiful, elegant designs that are sure to make any hairstyle stand out! It took me quite some time to make a decision, but I finally chose the Daisy Dangle Freestyle large flexi clip. This is a beautiful piece that features a daisy in the center.There are multiple color beads surrounding the clip as well as a few strands of free flowing beads and daisies! it is absolutely gorgeous! I thought it went great with my blog also since I have daisies all over!
I was a little leery on the sizing as I mentioned before my hair is rather thick. They have an awesome video that shows you a little about the clips and helps in deciding on a size. I ended up going with a large. It is a great size clip and holds quite a bit of hair. I have been able to craft multiple hairstyles and no long have the thrown up pony tail style. I can use these clips to spice up a simple half pony tail, I have twisted my hair and wrapped it with the clip, it makes a beautiful addition to my braids, and it even turned my messy thrown up style into something way more attractive! So many people have complimented the clip as well and I am more than excited to tell them all about Lilla Rose! I need to order more and in multiple sizes so that I can accomplish even more styles. These are definitely a great addition to any woman’s collection and can be used in any fashion style from jeans and a T-shirt to elegant, formal attire! No matter where you go, people will definitely notice your hair!
