If there’s one thing almost all women love, it is makeup. Some won’t even step out of the house without it on. I personally have a love-hate relationship with it. I absolutely love the way I look when I am made up, but I hate how it aggravates my skin or makes my eyes itchy and watery. I love to wear eye makeup, but it never lasts because I end up rubbing my eyes as they get irritated until I finally have to go wash it off my face.
Most makeup products have ingredients that aren’t great for people who suffer allergies or any skin sensitivities. I don’t know what is in them, but it is not fun! Mia Mariu is a health and beauty company that produces a great mineral makeup! Mineral makeup does not have all the same harsh ingredients that you can find in other makeup which is a huge plus for me. I was able to choose a few of their products to review and I have to say I have been very impressed!
I am not much of a foundation, concealer type person so I decided to check out the eye makeup. I have always been more of an earth tones kind of person so I was drawn in by the color choices! I ended up going with the Mineral Eye Shadow Duo Romance de Otoño .This has 2 shades of brown, a darker brown and a very light brown. To accompany the shadow, I went with Intense Eye Liner in Black and Volumizing and Lengthening Mascara in Black. This was sure to create the beautiful eyes I wanted! To round off the look, I went with Hydrating Stick Gloss Mía.
As you can see from the before and after, the makeup makes a huge difference! I love the way it looks. It has a very smooth feeling to not only the lip stick, but also to the eye liner and eye shadow. The mascara isn’t quite as dark and noticeable as I am used to BUT the benefits of this makeup surely made up for it! I did not find myself rubbing at my eyes all day. There was no irritation, my eyes did not water, and the makeup stayed put! (even through chasing around a toddler all day) The lipstick of course had to be reapplied, but I love that it did not dry my lips our and they felt silky smooth. The shade was a perfect natural tone with just enough pop to be noticeable. I love my Mia Mariu makeup and can’t wait to check out more of their product line in the future.
