Modarri Toy Cars Review

With two boys in the house, we own a ridiculous amount of toy cars. The collection started way back when my oldest was abut 3 or 4 and has just grown since then. Boys love cars. My only issue is that no matter how many we add, they all seem to be the same. Either they are run by remote or they are 1 of a gazillion matchbox cars that all do the exact same thing and just have different looks to them. The boys don’t mind and would continue adding to this. S, when I heard about a new line of cars released from Modarri that would reinvent the toy car world, I had to check them out. This new line of cars comes in Street Car, Track Car, and Dirt Car versions as well as a fun DIY car. You can see below from left to right is the track car, the DIY car (plain silver) a second track car (I will picture the street car below since we received a duplicate car instead of the street car) and the bottom is the Dirt Car. I absolutely love the overall designs of the Modarri cars (and the boys did as well!)

Here is an image of the Street car as well.

You can also buy Modarri Cars in a 3 pack which contains one each of the street, dirt, and track cars except the cars are colored a bit differently than their singe counterparts!

As you can see, each of these cars comes with a set of cones and a hex tool. In this creative genious design, young boys can use their imaginations not only to play with Modarri Cars, but to create their own designs! Each car comes with a chassis, hood/windshield, seat pan, seat, fenders and frame, hex tool, four wheels, front and
rear suspensions and a hex tool for taking them all apart. Once taken apart, ALL of the cars and pieces are interchangeable! Even better, in my opinion, is one amazing feature… the screws do NOT come out! You can loosen them the remove the pieces, but the design makes sure each screw is contained within the body pieces so there is no lost screw in the creation process. That is very helpful since we know kids tend to lose things. especially when you are a 12 year old with a 3 year old brother who likes to get into everything! For even more creativity, you can add in the DIY car. This car allows for the user to custom design their own paint job. It does not come with paint, but nail polish works perfectly! This is the DIY car my oldest designed!

Outside of the actual look of the cars and ability to switch pieces, this truly is a top notch car collection. Each of the cars is a “finger car”. The seats fit little fingers perfectly for use in driving. No need to push them around, you can drive them! With realistic steering and suspension these little cars truly go. (well, on floors and smooth sidewalks. It takes some time to earn steering on pavement as you can see in the video below) This gives the user so much more of a thrill with driving, racing, and playing than any other car we have in our collection! My boys absolutely love Modarri Cars and are already asking me to get the street car (they love the blue color!) and to pick up a 3 pack so they can have every car!
