One Month In To A New Me!

It is January 31. That means the first month of the New Year is almost over! Time to check in on those goals! I was kind of not looking so forward to doing this first post. I was scared i wouldn’t have succeeded. I never stick with my resolutions for very long. I saw the numbers on the scale start going down and I felt a bit better.. but who really SEES the weight they lose on a daily basis? I look at my self in the mirror and I don’t feel any different than I did a month ago. The scale said I dropped 10 pounds this month, I met a few milestones like fitting my wedding ring again and wearing my size 11 jeans.. but for some reason I couldn’t wrap my head around the fact that I couldn’t see a difference. So, today I did my first set of comparison photos. I guess maybe, just maybe I can see a difference =]  What do you think?

back viewI have always heard that a picture is worth a thousand words.. I am just very thankful that I decided to follow advice and keep a photo log because I really didn’t feel very accomplished. The change is far from drastic. I still weigh over 160 pounds.. but I am well on my way to where I want to be! I still have 26 pounds to go to reach my goal, but I WILL DO IT.

I am still a quitter (smoking wise) so that is another goal down! This year is looking good for my journey to a new me!  I am starting another month of weight loss challenge on Monday! This time, it is open to my readers to join as well!  It is $5 to join and there will be a private Facebook group to post weekly weigh in photos, work to encourage and support each other, and hopefully inspire others to work towards a new version of themselves! If you are interested in joining me, make sure to check out the sign up sheet here. I really hope to see some of you there!

Great job for sticking with a month already!!! Small change! Tonight I so bad wanted to splurge and eat chocolate, but instead the kids motivated me to get on the treadmill. Choices each day! Keep it up!!!
