I know it is a little late in the summer to be reviewing swimsuits and offering giveaways, but I couldn’t resist sharing. I am sure you can find a use for a swimsuit this late in the year? Maybe a vacation to a warmer area, an indoor pool.. or save it for next year!
I was recently given the opportunity to review a swimsuit for Swimspot. They offer a great variety of swimwear from bikinis to one pieces, and even coverups! You are sure to find something to your liking. They have designs from top names such as Guess, Nautica, Ella Moss and more! I love how the site is seperated into multiple searching features. You can search for designer, pieces- tops and bottoms are even categorized by types such as boyshort bottoms or tankini tops, search by color, or eve suggested styles for a particular body type. They even have a fit specialist page complete with videos and tips for each body shape!
Are you someone who likes to mix and match pieces by colors or designs? Swimspot can help you there as well! They have a “bkini builder” that allows you to mix and match designs on a model to get an idea of the look you are going for. once you have chosen the two pieces you like, you can add them to the cart using the buy button. Definitely the most simple way to get that perfect look!
I personally chose to review an Athena swimsuit from Swimspot. I went with a skirted bottom and a halter tankini top in Tequila Sunrise. I am about a size 12 dress and I did have a bit of difficulty finding a suit in my size. Reading their sizing guidelines worried me a bit as well since my measurements didn’t quite match up. I went with my gut and went one size up and ordered a size 14. I was absolutely in love with the design and just crossed my fingers hoping it would fit. Thankfully it did! I am glad I went a size up as well. The swimsuit is a beautiful pink with shades of lighter pinks and oranges and grey. Tequila Sunrise is the perfect description! The tankini top was very nice for someone
looking to cover up but still look cute. After having my son, I refuse a bikini. The Tankini was perfect to cover my flaws. I am also 5’9 with a decent length torso and the top was more than enough to cover completely. No worries about it rising above my belly when wearing it. I loved the crossing back straps. It also has light padding to the cups and came with an extra set of paddins as well. Though there was not much support at all, it was still very comfortable. I chose the skirted bottoms as more of a cover up as well, but they are just adorable! I love how it has the ruffle around the bottom. Full coverage of all areas is a plus and with the two pieces combined, it even looks like a swim dress until you look closely! The swimsuit is very well made! The material is much thicker than other swimsuits and you can really feel the difference. I am not scare I will rip a seam or anything. I can be confident that I will still have my Swimspot swimsuit for next summer!
Swimspot is offering one of my lucky readers the opportunity to win a $50 gift card to purchase your own swimwear! Make sure to follow them on facebook and twitter and then enter below for your chance to win!
