I am guilty. I am one of those people who absolutely refuse to floss. I can not stand the feel of the string between my teeth. Most of my teeth are really close and it is actually uncomfortable and makes me feel like I will not be able to get the floss back out. So, when I was given the opportunity to review the Oral Irrigator by ToiletTree I was excited to give it a try. For those unfamiliar with an oral irrigator, it is an awesome tool to add to your daily tooth care regimen! The oral irrigator is filled with water. You can choose a setting that you prefer (normal, soft, or pulse) and the irrigator shoots a stream of water that can reach even the hardest places between teeth. The head to the irrigator concentrates the water into a powerful stream that helps remove plaque as well as any food particles etc that may not have been reached by everyday brushing.
When I first got my irrigator, I had to test it out instantly. I was a little discouraged by the fact that it HURT and I found myself bleeding. I wouldn’t use it again for days, All the while my husband and step son were absolutely in love with it. How could a 9 year old use this with no problem but I couldn’t bear the pain? Well, I started looking at videos of oral irrigators and realized I was doing it wrong. No wonder! I was watching in the mirror with the irrigator a few inches from my gums and it was just hitting me like a knife! So, I gave it another try and put it right at my gum line and leaned over the sink. This time was way different! I was able to fun it up and down my teeth and gums and actually saw little particles fall into the sink (yes, it was pretty gross!) I did have a very small amount of bleeding which I know is attributed to the very sensitive gums that I have but otherwise it was amazing! My 
teeth felt cleaner than ever! Have you ever seen those commercials where the rub a finger on their teeth and it squeaks? Well, that is actually possible! I know because after using this I was able to do it!
I now use my irrigator every single day! I love that it is chargeable so no need to worry about batteries. The canister to fill with water is removable so it is easy to keep clean without the worries of water getting nasty inside of it. And it even included multiple heads so that my husband and I can have our own and not have to share. I think everyone in my house may have the cleanest teeth we have had in years! And the best benefit I have found so far is that it actually makes my step son WANT to brush his teeth where we would have to make him do it before. He voluntarily does it now just to be able to use the oral irrigator! Boy is the dentist going to love us now!
