I am a coffee addict. I can’t get my day going without it. Unfortunately, I am one of those people who can not handle the acidity of coffee. Before I am almost done my first cup I have an upset stomach. It’s a great tool to keep me regular I guess, but if I am ever running late I have to skip coffee and be groggy all day to avoid stomach issues while I am out. I didn’t think there could be a cure. I mean coffee is coffee right? I got the chance to review Tyler’s Coffee recently and that idea is out the window. Tyler’s Coffee is organic, acid free coffee. Created from the highest quality mexican beans and put through a unique “z-roasting” process is said to create a bold flavor while removing the acidity of the bean. So how was it?
Well, I was rather disappointed that I only received enough of a sample to make one pot because it was actually really good. The flavor is rather bold so if you are used to a light to mild coffee, you may want to use less of this to make a weaker cup. But the flavor was great to me. The aroma was stronger than any coffee I would typically by and gave my senses that “wake up, it’s morning coffee!” feel. It went down smoothly and to my surprise did not upset my stomach AT ALL. I drank two full cups without having to run to the bathroom. I am confident that I’d be able to drink a cup on the way out of the door in a morning rush and not be afraid of the outcome. However, this was only a one day trial. SO I can not rule out how it affects you after your body is used to it or attest to how long the freshness lasts etc. The cost of the product seems quite a bit out of my comfort zone for now as well. So, while I would LOVE to have this on a regular basis, I will likely have to wait until the price drops a bit to consider purchasing more. I guess I am stuck with acidic coffee and upset stomachs for now, But for those of you who can afford the luxury, I definitely recommend giving it a try! You can even request a sample sized package (4oz) and only pay shipping ($4.99). Your tummy will thank you!
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
