With a toddler in the house, we watch a lot of cartoons. Anything bright and colorful and with tons of music really seems to catch his attention. Right now, one of his favorite shows is Yo Gabba Gabba!. There is something about all that singing, dancing, and shaking the sillies out that he just loves. And Brobee is his favorite! So, of course when I found out Yo Gabba Gabba! Live! Get the Sillies Out! was coming to my hometown I knew we had to go!

For any of you who may not be familiar with Yo Gabba Gabba! (gasp! shame on you!) your kids are missing out! Yo Gabba Gabba! is an award-winning, live action television series now in its fourth season! you can catch it several times a day on Nick Jr. Here’s a run down of the characters! In the photo below, from left to right-

Plex- he is the ‘magic robot’ that can send guests into Yo Gabba Gabba! land!

Toodee- She is a ‘cat-dragon’ and is the character that is mischievous and can be a little selfish at times.

Muno- of course is a one-eyed cyclops. He is the friendly, well mannered one but at times can be impatient.

Foofa- She is a pink flower bubble. Always one to make you giggle and smile, but can get very upset if things do not go her way!

Brobee- My sons all time favorite! He is the shy one who comes out of his shell by singing and dancing (and dance he does!)

And then of course there is DJ Lance Rock. He is the host and always gets the show started saying the words Yo Gabba Gabba! (he is a very energetic character that is so full of energy that the kids just love it!)

Together these wonderful characters teach children many life lessons like manners, sharing, being a good friend and more. One of our favorite parts of the show is ‘getting the sillies out’. The sillies are little creatures that live inside us and make us wild and crazy. Sometimes you just need to ‘jump, shake, and shimmy them out!’ That is exactly what the kids will do at Yo Gabba Gabba! Live! Get The Sillies Out! Be prepared for over an hour of action packed fun that everyone in the audience can get into!

I am so out of the loop when it comes to what’s hot with the little ones these days. My granddaughters are going up so fast, but this looks like an awesome fun show for the family! Last live show we went to was Disney on ice and they loved it! The characters look so cute, and lively!
